This is my first design.

Please give feedback in any form!!!

Update: added a M3 version which will fit screws from M3 x 6 to M3 x 10. Make sure to not tighten the screws as this may brake the pillar on the bottom lid and isn't even necessary.

Hello there!

I was looking for a simple enclosure for the PID controller REX-C100 to place it next to my coffee machine (Gaggia Classic) but most of the times people are hanging/sticking the controller on the side of the machine. I really liked the idea of having the PID as a seperate 'control-panel' so I designed a simple housing for the controller to place it on the counter next to my machine. I am really happy by how it turned out and suits my needs perfectly but it ain't perfect, therefore I also uploaded the f3d file (I hope it works, otherwise contact me) so you can change it. One flaw I found at my design is that once you've tightened the PID with the plastic frame, it's very hard to loosen it again, as the accessability is blocked by the enclosure itself. So 1. put the plastic frame inside the housing before wiring everything up and 2. make sure everything works before tightening the PID as this is kind of a one-time-use :-D

If anyone takes use of this I would really appreciate a feedback on how it worked out :-)
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Important note:

You need to place the housing on your build plate with the 'face' down as shown in the screenshot. I have no idea how I could pre-set this in fusion so ... sorry.

The bottom-lid (aswell as the housing itself) is designed for M2 bolts (slots for nuts and holes for screw). As these are not very common you need to either redesign it for larger ones or just dont print the bottom at all. In that case you could close the holes in the housing for a cleaner look. But keep in mind that without a bottom lid you have live power exposed at the bottom therefore I really recommend using a bottom lid.

side note: the hole in the bottom lid is simply to make it easier to remove/take out.
