Retract kit using a single 9g servo per gear. The arm geometry goes over center and locks in the down position. Weight testing shown that it can stand at least: -5kg in the vertical axis. -2.5kg of sideload -2.5kg of forward/backward moment Unit total weight is less than 50g at 100% infill, plus servo weight. It is designed to pressure fit MG90s and TGY-50090M servos, altough other servos could be fitted (using a knife or hot end to melt the excess material if using different servos). Top (fuselage bracket) dimensions are: 50mm wide, 25mm high, 90mm long *does not include wheel area once retracted* Required for assembly: - few BBQ skewers (goes through designated holes to transfer the load from the assembly to the plane) -2 servo screws (usually provided with servo) -1.2 to 1.8mm diameter pushrod, total lenght 8 cm -axle is optimized for 2.5mm rod (of user lenght) Upcoming arcticle on Flitetest about the assembly and implementation in a plane.
