Simple Respooler for 10 mm or 3/8 inch drill chuck

Simple and easy to print filament respool aid.NOTE: This print is only suited for very well tuned printers with low tolerances since it uses standard metric threads. The stem of the respooler fits any drill with a 10mm or 3/8 inch adjustable chuck. The minimal spool hole diameter is 40mm. Pretty much any reasonable spool size will work.I provided different screw lengths, choose the right length for your spool size. The Nut is universal and will work with any screw length.50mm screw: 150g max (sample spools)75mm screw: 1000g max (most 1kg spools, e.g. Prusament, DasFilament, Masterspool)100mm screw: 1500g max125mm screw: 2500g max (2300g Spools, e.g. DasFilament)150mm screw: 2500g+Whilst small sample spools can be held and stabilized easily just by the drill chuck, I strongly reccomed to balance all larger spools on a spool roller since the load applied to the respooler stem would be too much and it might break. I put the sample filament or spool onto the stock spoolholder of my mk3s and run the respooler in front of the printer. This eases the respooling effort immensely.I reccomend to print with a 0.4mm nozzle to help with screw precision. Any sturdy material like PLA, PETG or ASA/ABS should work fine. I printed everything in PETG and used 25% cubic infill at 0.2mm layers with 3 walls. Also I added a 100% infill modifier to the stem for the drill huck to beef it up and prevent it from snapping. All parts should print easily without any support or brims. If you have some struggle to get the nut to stick, maybe add a outside only brim as reinforcement. The provided .3mf files all already include ideal print settings and 100% infill modifiers for the drill chuck stems. Just choose your preferred filament and you should be good to go.Screw the nut fully onto the screw 1-2 times after printing to break in the threads so they wont cease up easily.I managed to respool 800g of PLA from a 2.5kg spool onto a 800g spool within about 3 minutes. The winding isnt too fancy but way better than before.
