Simple Re-Arm Smoothieboard + RAMPS 1.4 mount

thingiverse

This is a re-designed version of my Simple RAMPS 1.4 mount, modified to be compatible with the new Re-Arm Smoothieboard. I beefed up the original RAMPS 1.4 mount to address some of the breaking issues that plagued it initially. A simple mount holds a RAMPS 1.4, Re-Arm Smoothieboard, and cooling fans in place. Slots on the side of the "case" allow for tidy routing of stepper motor and other wires, keeping them out of the airflow path. The fan mount is designed to accommodate various fan options, depending on what you have available. There are two different fan mounts - one short and one tall - allowing for flexibility in wire management and accommodating varying amounts of space in your printer. Mounting holes are sized for M5, enabling attachment to 80-20 extrusions or any other material you prefer. Drill and tap the fan mount holes for M3, and drill and tap holes in the base for whatever size screws suit your needs for mounting the Smoothieboard. I've included Solidworks files for remixing purposes.
