I incorporated Sasa's impressive Simple Rack & Pinion script into my Mini-CNC project on Thingiverse (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:185922), adding a couple of changes. Firstly, I swapped the pi approximation for OpenSCAD's PI constant in calculations. Secondly, I included three functions to calculate pitch radius, outer radius and the radius for distance calculation. Otherwise, it remains similar to the original version. :)
