Simple quadcopter frame

Simple quadcopter frame

thingiverse

This is my printed frame for a quadcopter that measures 400 in size. Initially, I only had arms to support my old wooden frame, but eventually I replaced the entire frame with this new one. With its design, you can build two types of frames - an H-style frame or a longer X-style frame. To build an H-style quadcopter, you will need: arms (two sets), frame beam_H (two), frame plate A (one), frame plate B (one), frame plate C1 (two), frame plate C2 (two). To build an X-style quadcopter, you will also need the same components as the H-style frame. In addition to these required parts, you can print: a cover for A and B plates that glue together, legs (two sets), motor distance spacers (four) - if your motors require them, my motor has a long shaft with a wide cotter pin. I've included a Sketchup file so you can easily adapt the frame to suit your needs.
