Simple pyramid

A very simple pyramid created using SketchUp. Print Settings Printer Brand: MakerBot Printer: MakerBot Replicator 2 Rafts: Yes Supports: No Resolution: Medium Infill: 10% How I Designed This Create base Using SketchUp, I created a square on the XZ-axis. Find base center point Using the tape measure tool, I selected one corner and measured across to the opposite corner. I did this twice so as to create an intersecting midpoint. Create top vertex I used the Lines tool and clicked once on the midpoint that was created in the previous step. I then clicked the up arrow to constrain my new line to run along the Y-axis and clicked when I felt the pyramid was tall enough. Create sides In the Camera menu, select "Front" from the "Standard Views" menu. Use the Lines tool, connect a line from the top vertex to the lower left vertex, then from the top vertex to the lower right vertex. SketchUp will close the shape and make that side solid. Change the view and do this for "Back," "Left," and "Right" also. Export and print! You are done! Now just export and print! I exported the file as a .stl file, imported to MakerBot Desktop, sized and applied printing configurations, then exported as a .x3g file to the MakerBot SD card and printed my pyramid.
