Simple PTFE Tube Mounts

Simple PTFE Tube Mounts

With the MMU3 buffer mounted on top of my Prusa Lack Enclosure v2 (using my own buffer modification), I needed a way to hold the other end of the MMU3 buffer input PTFE tubes next to the spool holders. I didn't find anything suitable here on Printables, so I made this. Then I iterated on the design a few times.Mounts to a surface (in my case the enclosure top) with two 3mm flat head screws, and holds on to the PTFE tube with friction fit (same fit as the official MMU3 spool holder parts) or an E3D collet (same type as used in MMU3 and its buffer), depending on the chosen model. The distance from the mounting surface to the center of the PTFE tube is 20mm, and the full height is ~25mm. Changelog2023-11-05Added a new version, with an end stop for the PTFE tube, to prevent the tube from sliding towards the spool when unloading or because of a snag. Also redesigned to be more hexagonal, the shape we all know and love.2024-07-25Added yet another version, with a mount for an E3D collet (same type as used in MMU3 and its buffer) in the back to stop the tube from sliding out when pushing filament in (mainly useful when using a Loading Fork). Unlike previous versions, this version is designed to be printed on its back. Also updated all the 3MF and G-code files with MK4 print settings.
