MeanWell Power Supply Unit Design Draft A basic block diagram of a MeanWell power supply unit is presented below. The design files are compatible with SolidWorks 2016 software. The power supply unit consists of: * Main circuit board * Transformer * Rectifier bridge * Output capacitor bank * Voltage regulator The main circuit board houses the control electronics, including the voltage regulator and any additional features such as overcurrent protection or remote sensing. The transformer steps down the high-voltage AC input to a lower voltage level suitable for the rectifier bridge. The rectifier bridge converts the AC signal from the transformer into a pulsating DC output. This is then filtered by the capacitor bank, which smooths out the ripple and produces a stable DC output. A voltage regulator is used to further regulate the output voltage to the desired level.
