Make sure the model is scaled 1000% on Cura as a standard. Any minor size adjustments can be made around that (specific scaling size - ex: 1068% fits me the best) The thread must go (1) Through the modeled pin hole on the top segment (2) Around the rounded lever wheel - not the post on either side of the lever wheel (3) and through the back of the part, where it will rest on the modeled groove. The string is secured by simply tying several double knots in the string so it is unable to pass back through the modeled pin hole. And on the string attachment, the string is simply tied around the hook securely. The clear elastic that you see on the finger is a small hair tie elastic that I found at CVS. I bought a pack of 400 for $4. Anything that is a similar size elastic will work.
