Simple plume sprinkler / Water blaster (print in place)
thingiverse
This is a straightforward "Plume" sprinkler / nozzle / water blaster gadget, based on the clever design ["Noch ein Regner"](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3068655) by 3DPNoob, but reimagined to print in one piece (no assembly), with the Gardena connector from the ["Pilzregner"](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2996712), which works well for me. It delivers excellent coverage even at low pressure, producing a fine mist rather than droplets. You can use it as a handheld watering tool or even as a "crazy blaster" by attaching it to the end of a piece of hose (maybe someone remembers that toy from the 80s..) [Check out the video to see it in action](https://youtu.be/61ljK4m30XE) :-) The model contains some clever tricks to fool slicers into doing the right thing, so I recommend using **a maximum layer height of 0.24mm**. Tested in Cura and Slic3r Prusa, **if you're using Cura, make sure to uncheck "Ignore small Z gaps".** For PLA, I found it needs at least three or four perimeters, otherwise it leaks between the layers. It should be printed **without supports**. There are two versions available: one with the Gardena type connector, **which requires an O ring**, which you can scavenge off a Gardena fitting or buy. **The other version features a 3/4 British thread** (not tested yet..).
