Simple playpen door latch
thingiverse
I struggle with the latch on my Dwinguler play pen. It's positioned too low for me to access while carrying my infant. Recovering from a C-section makes it difficult for me, but stepping over the walls is manageable for my husband. The built-in latch is challenging to close due to misaligned holes. I'll probably find it useful when baby grows older, but for now, it's hard to manage with a baby in tow. Four dogs would quickly destroy baby toys if left unattended, even for 2 seconds. To address this issue, I created an adjustable latch/bracket. It slides over the door and adjacent wall, preventing the door from opening. This design is easy to use, even when holding a baby. Once my baby grows older, it'll be just as simple for her to remove, but currently, it's more about keeping dogs out than baby in – this solution works well for me.
