Hey so there isn't a good way to have a water bottle with your Citi bike, unless you hold it. Modified someones water bottle clip so that you can plug it into one of the holes in the basket, works for the newer bikes and the silver e-bikes too. They don't have exactly the same hole diameter but this seems to work well for both.
