A Simple Phone/ Tablet Stand is a necessity for any phone or tablet owner - especially those who need to watch videos, browse websites or read articles on their mobile devices frequently. Designed with simplicity and ease of use in mind, this stand has four preset viewing angles that can be adjusted by simply rotating the device. Whether you're reading, browsing or watching videos, this stand will always have an angle just right for you. It's easy to improve upon - any suggestions you may have, don't hesitate to reach out. I'll soon be working on a version of this stand designed specifically for tablets, and until then, feel free to scale it up by a factor of 2 or simply by scaling the x/y axis if you'd like a thin stand. To get started printing your phone/ tablet stand, you'll want to use the print settings below. For rafts: just let them be as they are. As for supports - we won't need those either. Choose any resolution that suits your needs. And for infill: we advise using 10-25%, but ultimately it's up to you. Just remember, the less material used, the lighter the final product will be! A few notes to keep in mind when printing this design: For the best results, try printing it on its side - it won't need any supports at all and an infill density of your choice should do the trick. Feel free to scale the stand up or down depending on what you're working with - whether it's a phone or tablet, we've got you covered. The Story Behind this Design: This simple design is for anyone who's looking for an easy-to-print and robust phone or tablet stand. Most designs only offer one or two viewing angles - but ours offers four different positions, eliminating the need to worry about awkward placement when browsing online or watching videos. The inspiration came after a brainstorming session during which we decided that adding some stubs on each end of a right-angled triangle would prevent devices from falling off while adding several pockets on the inside would reduce overall material and weight usage.
