Simple Mouse Trap
myminifactory
I came up with this simple tilting mouse trap just to test out features like lettering, wall thickness, dimensions, and clearances on my 3D printer. This was my first print using Simplify3D's factory defaults, so I got a lot of ghosting on the lettering and holes. Instructions: The bait plug in the rear is filled with peanut butter. Once the critter enters the trap, it tilts and the door releases. The door stays closed thanks to two 3/16" x 1/8" neodymium magnets. You may need to add weight - like a coin or two - to get the right balance.
