Simple Mount for G1W Dashcam

This old version needs revisiting. Take a look at the updated model at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:671822. I recently picked up a G1W dash camera and was promptly disappointed with the included suction mount. It took up too much space, made too noticeable of an appearance, and hindered me from mounting the camera fully behind the rearview mirror. This streamlined mount stands less than half the height of the suction mount, enabling a more discreet placement of the camera. Instructions: This innovative new mount comes together using a #6 screw, two washers, and a nyloc nut. Use double-sided tape (3M 1" VHB recommended) to securely attach it to your windshield. For maximum stealth, paint black or wrap with electrical tape.
