Simple Motor Mount with 8˚ Tilt to Center

This is a simple single-screw motor mount designed for 12mm carbon fiber tubing, featuring an integrated 8° tilt toward the center for improved stability. Generous clearance accommodates propellers up to 10 inches in diameter; a larger 11-inch propeller can even be used if necessary. The mount does not require drilling into the carbon fiber tubing, a preference I share. A 4-meter screw and nut are utilized for the mount itself, complemented by longer 3-meter screws measuring 6mm in length for the motor attachment. Ideal for achieving dihedral effects on Quad or hex designs, this mount provides an essential component. To produce the model, utilize the following settings: * Rafts: Doesn't matter. * Supports: No. * Resolution: .2. * Infill: 10%. Post-processing requires enlarging the screw holes slightly. My design approach always involves creating parts that are right on specification; consequently, the screw holes may be a bit tight. Cleaning them out with a drill bit ensures the holes are smooth and accurately aligned.
