Simple MK7 Driver Flex and Hard Material - Bowden Extruder

Simple MK7 Driver Flex and Hard Material - Bowden Extruder

thingiverse

I've spent a long time searching on Thingiverse for an extruder that can print flexible filament with ease. Unfortunately, I couldn't find what I was looking for, so I decided to design one myself. Now, I need to run some more tests to make it reliable. My design features a 625ZZ bearing and an MK7 Drive Gear, which allows me to place a cutted bowden tube (4mm) that can be cut in the middle to fit the shape of the MK7 drive gear and the bearing. This prevents flexible filament from slipping off and getting tangled. I'd like to thank AxMod3DPrint for his Nema17 mount for 2020 extrusion, which was a great inspiration for this design: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1313587 If you have any suggestions, please let me know - I'm still working on it! Edit: Please use the Chariot v2, as there were some issues with version 1 that prevented the bearing from spinning freely. Here's what you'll need for this project: * MK7 Drive Gear * 625ZZ Ball Bearing * 4x M3x20mm screws * 2x M3x45mm screws * 2x Bed Spring * 2x M3 Nut * PC4-M6 Push-Fit Connector (for 4mm bowden tube and 1.75mm Filament) Edit: I've run some tests, and it's working well for me so far! If you make one, please share your results with me! If you have any questions or need help, just let me know - I'm here to assist you!
