Simple micro 8x8 Chassis

thingiverse

A versatile base designed for seamless integration with Orlandoo axles to create an 8x8 configuration. For enhanced maneuverability, steering can be easily incorporated into both front and rear axle sets by strategically placing servos on the sides and routing rods underneath the top plate. Conveniently, the design features mounting points for steering assemblies on both axle sets. However, some components may require drilling to accommodate holes, which are not pre-drilled. Furthermore, as this chassis is constructed from carbon fiber, it's uncertain whether 3D printing will provide sufficient structural integrity. To secure servos in place, users can employ double-sided M3 pads or opt for a sturdy adhesive, such as the combination of pads and glue used by the creator. While straightforward in design, this base still necessitates some refinement to achieve optimal performance.
