Simple Medieval Spear
sketchfab
Medieval warriors often wielded a simple yet effective spear, its design reflecting the limitations and accessibility of materials available during that time period. Crafted from a single wooden shaft, typically oak or ash, this early spear was often topped with a crudely sharpened point fashioned from iron or flint. The spear's length, usually between five to seven feet, allowed warriors to engage their enemies at a safe distance while still maintaining the ability to defend themselves if necessary.
