Simple Mars Base Designed to be easily constructed, and most of all easily transported. A modular design was best encase the transporting/landing damaged one or two shipments, it could be possible to keep moving forward with a mars base. Since its modular, we could have a steady shipment of new modules for expansion. Each module consists of a double wall exterior that provides a massive area for insulation and a extra layer of protection against the weather. With all the added protection, can't feel too confined so adding windows at both ends provides enough sunlight to heat the interior and provide some comfort. The structure will be 55% - 60% submerged to utilize natural protection and moderate the interior temperature. At each end is where you move between floors on ramps, along with a optional doorway to connect with other modules. Compartments Garage: Having a garage opens the possibilities of having construction equipment (to build a permanent base underground or a City Base - thing:351960), field robots, and has a place to build/repair the equipment. Agriculture: Renewable food source and way to make oxygen. Living Area: People need a place to sleep, enough room for private areas without the feeling of living in a submarine. Storage: Plenty of room for Liquid/Gas/Dry storage along with room for misc equipment like Central heat/ac, pumps, etc. Research Labs: Place to have all of the science equipment necessary for mars exploration. Enjoy! Instructions Print Settings No Supports needed! Layer Height: .25 Perimeter: 2 Infill: 20% Solid layers: 2 (top and bottom) Already arranged for printing Though I added some wiggle room for the pieces to fit together, I had to clean up the parts in order for them to fit properly. Glue isn't necessary to fit the modules together but is needed for the cap and anchors. Enjoy!
