Simple Mario Venus Fly Trap Planter

This rendition of a Super Mario Pipe Planter for Venus Fly Trap is designed to hold the "Little Pot of Horrors" brand of Venus Fly Trap which can occasionally be found in local U.S. grocery stores. The goal of the design is simplicity. As the plant comes pre-planted in a plastic pot, this print is designed to create something to encase the pot and hold water around the plant while having the fun Mario Theme. UPDATE: I didn't entirely think through chemical compatibility when I was printing this part. I used ABS which, coincidentally, seems to have poisoned my venus fly trap. Thus, PLA or PET/PETG are recommended for this project as they are not water soluble and are generally considered food compatible (Note: just because these plastics are compatible, does not mean they are food safe. Do your research on specific filaments before eating or drinking with printed containers or utensils). Nevertheless as a result of their food compatibility, they should work well for containing your venus fly trap.
