Simple Magnetic Wire Clip

Simple Magnetic Wire Clip

Tried using tape to hide a wire behind a leg on my Melltorp enclosure and the tape kept coming loose. Looked for a solution on Thingiverse and got real close but no cigar (note: the search tool here is not too great) so I made these to fit some magnets I already had and it came out pretty nice. They use 20x20x2mm adhesive magnets and a link to the ones I used is below. It's sized for a roughly 4mm wire but my first try was too small and worked great on a wire I sized as 2.85mm so I included that model as well. Prints as oriented in the stl and uses about 2 grams of filament.

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B06XYLCSQ3

Print Settings

Printer Brand:

Creality

Printer:

CR-10S

Rafts:

No

Supports:

No

Resolution:

280

Infill:

20

Filament: MatterHackers PLA

Notes:

On a 60c bed they stuck well with no brim

Category: Electronics
