Simple Lock Box Puzzle

I'm designing a small lockbox that could later be part of a puzzle. I want it to have a locking mechanism, but for now, it's just a simple box with a spring-loaded cylinder. I'm considering adding different types of locks, like a lever lock or a tumbler lock. However, I'm hesitant about the tumbler lock because it requires compression springs, and I want my designs to be fully 3D printable. If you know how to make a functioning compression spring or an alternative way to create a tumbler lock without one, please let me know. Any tips on improving my design are greatly appreciated. I'd love to see ideas for future projects - I focus mainly on making puzzles but can also create other items. If you can't access the video, follow these steps: Grab the inner cylinder with the small hole facing up and get the spring. Place the spring's centerpiece into the cylinder's hole with the square on the spring facing the first extrusion on the cylinder. Spin the end of the clock-wise one full revolution, holding it at that tension. Start placing the cylinder into the case, spring down, and place the spring end into the cases' spring holder. Needle-nose pliers might be needed for this step. Grab the lock shaft with the latch part facing left and carefully lift the cylinder up without pulling the spring out of place. With the cylinder lifted, insert the lock shaft into place and lower the cylinder. If you don't want the cover to come off, apply glue to the four holes located at each corner of the case. Place the cover over the case, lining up the four holes with the four nubs on the cover, and making sure the tall shaft goes into the cylinder. Now, place the lid into the bigger opening at the top of the lock where it should just latch into place, and you're done.
