Simple laser force macroscope

Simple laser force macroscope

thingiverse

This is an elementary, remarkably coarse, laser force "macroscope". Essentially, it's more of a touch probe, one might say. It's not a precision instrument, but with a light-to-frequency converter or a CDS cell and a 5-digit multimeter, you can easily measure surface features down to approximately 10 microns. Additional details are available at https://github.com/BasedOnTechnology/simple-LAFM Edit: I've introduced a V2 option, which includes a replaceable sensor mount and is slightly easier to print.
