I'm really excited about this simple project I came up with for the kids at my high school workplace. It's all about creativity and functionality, so I used bolts and wing nuts on the cams to hold everything together while also allowing for easy adjustments. I even threw in some offset cams just for a bit of visual flair - it adds a nice touch, if I do say so myself. As you might expect, battery-powered electronics can be easily connected to the base, and from there, it's just a matter of running wires to the shade where a small bulb awaits. It's not rocket science, but it's still pretty cool. All in all, this project is a great way for kids to get their hands dirty and have some fun while learning the basics. And with its compact size - just 150mm tall - it's easy to set up and take down as needed. When I scale it up using my slicer, I can see how impressive it'll look in all its glory, a whopping 200% bigger than before!
