Simple Kossel Mini Proximity Sensor Mount
thingiverse
I designed a Sensormount for my proximity sensor because the one available on thingiverse was not exactly to my liking or fit correctly. Using Fusion360, I created this compact piece that is easy to design and serves its purpose well. The Sensormount gets much closer to the hotend, providing more space for printing and increasing the area that can be probed with your bed. I defined a Y_PROBE_OFFSET_FROM_EXTRUDER of 27.5mm using Marlin. To assemble this, I used an M3x20 Screw along with a Nut - it works just fine. If you'd like to access the Fusion360 design data, head on over to a360.co/1mVbG2 Also, due to switching from my E3Dv4 to a E3Dv6 printer, my older holder was no longer working as it should. To adapt to this change, I created an additional adapter that serves as a hexagonal washer - its slot is designed to fit perfectly around the hotend's slot.
