SIMPLE HOUSE
grabcad
Revit's Simple House is a fundamental project that developers use to grasp its core features and capabilities. It comprises a basic floor plan with walls, doors, windows, and roof elements. The goal is to create an efficient model that demonstrates the software's functionality. To begin, open Revit and select the "Architecture" template. Then, navigate to the "Create" tab in the ribbon and choose "Floor Plan." Name your new project "Simple House." Select a unit system (e.g., feet/inches) and set the scale to 1/8". Draw the building's footprint by using lines or arcs. Add walls and select the correct orientation for each one. Use the "Modify" tab to adjust their lengths, heights, and thicknesses as needed. Add doors and windows to create openings in the walls. Finally, add a roof to cover the entire structure.
