1. What issues did you come up against? It was difficult to cut out certain things. I also had trouble deciding things like how do I make it easy to be clean and safe for everyone 2.If you could redesign this again what would you change? I’d probably add more rounded textures. Id also would spread the stimming board out more 3.How would 3D printing help strengthen your design? It would make it adjustable for every computer size. It will also make it so you can change the stimming board, adjust the mouse board, and even remove parts the person doesn’t want or need. The intended purpose of my product is to allow students a small desk to be able to do their work anywhere. I have two main components; the computer desk with the stimming board built into it, and the mouse board so you have a flat object to control your wireless mouse. I wanted to make sure I included all these things and still have it where it is fairly easy to clean. I also wanted the things to have rounded edges in case you have someone with special needs that couldn’t be left alone with something with sharp corners. I added a stimming board to allow students to fiddle with something so they don't over stress. You have several parts to the stimming board: little rounded bumps, squiggly lines, and a moveable ball you can roll around the circular soccer. I made sure the ball was able to be removed so it's easy to clean. Granted if you have special needs or small children, I suggest removing it for choking hazards.
