Simple Hard Drive Bracket (Long)
thingiverse
This is a simple bracket designed specifically for installing a 2.5" hard drive or SSD into a 3.5" bay. Its longer design accommodates all three standard screw holes found in 3.5" hard drives, making it necessary in certain situations. If you don't need all three mounting holes and are looking for a more affordable option that prints faster, I have uploaded an alternative bracket online, available at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4151947 Additionally, my "deluxe bracket" allows you to install two 2.5" drives in one 3.5" bay or one 2.5" drive and a fan. This versatile design can be found at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4151952 The holes on the side of this bracket are designed for self-tapping #6-32 UNC screws, which are commonly used with 3.5" hard drives. Note that these screw holes may also accommodate M3 screws if you find the standard hole too small. If you appreciate this design, consider leaving a tip or posting a make to show your support!
