The bottom component snaps into place at the bottom of your enclosure, securing the carbon tubing firmly in position. Next, the top piece is carefully fitted over the tubing, providing crucial support to the end of the graphics card's printed circuit board. For this assembly to work correctly, it is essential to have the right length of tubing (although it does look impressive when completed, with images coming soon). In some instances, there are holes in the bottom section that can be utilized to attach the bottom piece rigidly to the case. On the MSI GTX1080Ti graphics card I tested this with, there was a very limited amount of space on the end of the PCB where the support could be positioned. It is also advisable to print this item out of ABS material as the heat generated by the GPU could potentially melt PLA plastic.
