I've created some impressive gems, printing several of them a whopping 5 inches across. Most can be printed with a hollow interior, although gem 4 might require some infill support depending on the number of top layers I apply. I printed all mine with a sturdy 0.8mm wall thickness and found that the 45-degree angles resulted in surprisingly strong models. Ultimately, layer height is up to you and will depend on the size of your print.
