Simple Foot Massage Roller

For people with flat feet or plantar fasciitis, my feet feel amazing after rolling for about a minute each, and both my physiotherapist and massage therapist agree that over time, my feet have become much more flexible since I started using it. I've been using mine once a day for over a year now. Plantar fasciitis is a condition where the ligament in your arch, the plantar fascia, gets stretched and experiences small tears around your heel. It causes your leg to rotate inward, putting extra strain on your knees, hips, back, shoulders, and neck. Unfortunately, there's still no cure for flat feet, but there are ways to reduce the symptoms of pain. There is no substitute for proper insoles with arch support and fitted shoes, so talk to your doctor or podiatrist about finding the right solution for you. I also came across two other great projects on Thingiverse that I listed in the Remix section, but I found a flat cylindrical shape worked best for me. You can mix it up depending on what your feet prefer, but I like this simple design since I use it so often. The design of this thing is incredibly straightforward - just a hollow cylinder. It shows just how powerful 3D printing can be when it comes to improving someone's quality of life with a very simple object.
