This simple tool prints quickly and without supports. To remove the spring, place the muzzle end of the barrel into the opening at the end of the tool and push against the spring until the chamber end of the barrel will fit within the tool. At this point the snap ring can be removed and the barrel carefully removed from the tool. To replace the spring, place the new spring without the spring collar, into the tool and compress the spring to fit the chamber end in as before. Now the collar can be placed on the part of the barrel protruding from the tool, followed by the snap ring. Then remove the chamber end of the barrel, being careful to ease spring tension on, and the muzzle end can be removed by lifting on the muzzle end of the barrel. Be careful as at this point it will snap forward a little bit and if the snap ring is not properly placed or damaged it could fly off and cause injury.
