Traditional bars are designed for a snug fit, but if they're too restrictive for your printer, opt for the "less tight" alternatives. These refer to the width of the bars (not the notch size). [Version 3.1 Update] Printing just got easier! With square bases, it's virtually impossible to miss aligning the bars. Version 3.0: Simplify your 3D printing process even further with this easy-to-assemble filament spool stand! Just print and clip together two sides and one bar without any additional parts required. This design eliminates the need for bearings, screws, or washers; simply print and clip to complete assembly. Compatible with standard 1kg, 1.75mm filament spools, as well as Printrbot spools. The stand stands at a height of 10cm but can easily be scaled up by 10% or more for added height. [Update:] Looking for longer bars to accommodate larger spools? No problem! Simply scale the models to fit your needs, and choose from two new length bar options - 130mm and 150mm long (spool_stand_v3_bar_130mm.stl and spool_stand_v3_bar_150mm.stl). Printing instructions: Using 2 perimeters/30% infill, print two copies of 'spool_stand_v3_side.stl' and one copy of 'spool_stand_v3_bar.stl'. Clip them together for a seamless assembly. For personalization, consider printing one side or both with your name ('spool_stand_3_side_3DMM.stl'). If you encounter any printing difficulties due to calibration issues, lightly sandpaper the end tips of the bar for a perfect fit. Lastly, ensure stability by placing your spool with the filament coming from the bottom rather than the top.
