Couldn't find the sensor I was searching for. Well, build it! This is yours to create now. Wanted it closest to the extruder motor, where it can function efficiently. Designed it to slot into the 2020 rod perfectly. You'll need: a ptfe-tube (6cm, 4mm dia) inserted right into the extruder hole for a secure fit. 2 M3 screws 10mm with nuts to provide stability. and a Micro-switch with a roller at the end of the arm for precise triggering. After trying several designs, this is version V5. With the pictures in hand and actually using it myself, I recommend adding a little shrink-tube into the ptfe slot to achieve a tighter fit. It's slightly loose to the 2020 rod, so I redesigned the V5 .stl file and uploaded it for you! V6 isn't printed yet, but made the 2020 connector thicker for an improved fit.
