Simple Filament Clip
grabcad
A very simple clip for 2.85mm filament, to make sure it doesn't unwind when you store it. It's not fancy in any way, I just wanted to make a clip that's as small as possible but still holds on to the filament well and that can be detached and reattached a lot without breaking. I also don't like the clips that you put on the rim of the spool since I tend to stack mine on top of each other.I've printed it in ABS and usually 5-6 at a time to give them enough time to cool. Print settings I've used on ABS in Cura, which I'm sure can be improved:Layer height: 0.1mm (0.2 for initial layer)Bed temp: 95-100CNozzle temp: 235-240CPrint speed: 15-20mm/sPrinted with an Ultimaker 2+ with a small brim and gluestick on glass bed. Draft shield seem to work well with it too to make sure the temperature stays even.
