Simple fidget spinner
thingiverse
I designed a fidget spinner that relies on only one bearing, a relatively simple task to accomplish. By removing the other three bearings, I had to print with dense layers to compensate for the weight loss, and it still spins smoothly. I highly recommend using a cap on the bearing to make it easier to grasp, which is exactly what I did - http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2083000/#files The 608 cap printed at 96% fit perfectly into place. My print settings are as follows: I used my Tinkertine Studio Ditto + printer. Rafts aren't necessary in this case, so I chose not to use them. No supports were needed for this design. I set the resolution to 0.2mm. The infill density is at 30% to achieve a good balance between weight and durability.
