# Simple FDM-Friendly Bases ## What is it? Simple FDM-friendly bases for Tabletop RPGs and Wargaming. ## Why? I just wanted some really simple bases so I can create stuff on top of it. You will find SCAD files for both round bases and longer, rounded bases for cavalry. If you are inclined to do some art yourself, you can import the STL on Blender and use it as a size reference for the material you create. ## What can I do with it? Do whatever you want. You can print it for yourself, you can sell it if you want, or you can modify it and redistribute it as you see fit. There are no warranties on the files, though. If you use it, give me a shoutout. Or don't, I can't force you to do anything. :-) ## Modifying the SCAD files If you want to change the size of a base, you can use OpenSCAD to modify it. I tried keeping the code as simple as possible. If you want a specific size (such as 28mm), you just need to modify the base_size variable. I'm also using 4mm as height for the STLs I posted, but Warhammer bases are usually between 3.2mm and 3.6mm. Again, you just need to modify the height variable to fit your needs. For the longer bases, it's mostly the same, except there's a variable called length, which determines (you guessed it) the length of the base. I hope you find this useful. :-)
