Simple ESP32-CAM Housing with mount
prusaprinters
This housing is designed for the ESP32-CAM including ESP32CAM-MB und an optional external Antenna. I just use them for the Prusa Connect integration. While I wanted to make the housing as small as possible I kept the hole for the Micro-USB connector quite large to support as many as possible plugs and to allow some air to flow thru for cooling. The module gets quit in warm in operation and therefore I also added the four small holes on the top. The housing has 3 parts front, back and an internal support piece. For the assembly you need six M2 screws with the length from 4mm to 12 mm.There are 3 types of connectors: Straight, 45° and 90° in different length. One connector consist always out of 2 pins and 2 bodies, of which 1 needs to be mirrored (except for the straight one of course). The balls should snap with some pressure smooth into the back of the housing and the base. If it comes out too loose or too tight resize it slightly in the slicer (all four parts for the connector only).Based on your needs you can use the base for magnets. It can hold up to six magnets with 5 mm diameter and 5 mm height. I tested it with 2 and it was already strong enough.I also added a base for M4 screws. You can use this to mount it on Bosch-profile with t-nut or on any other surface. You can also used the housing back as base, if you want to mount it somewhere with 4 x M2 screws.PrintingI printed mine in Prusament PETG orange and black with 4 perimeter and 40% infill and no support. For the recommended print orientation please see picture.Happy printing
