I misplaced the key to my old storage unit and promptly replaced it with a new one. The French refer to this type of storage unit as "Serrure à piston," but I couldn't find an English equivalent for the term. This particular storage unit does not require a key, making it easy to prevent unauthorized access by children. The standard dimensions of this unit are a diameter of 16.4mm and a depth of 71mm.
