Simple DIY Desk Lamp
thingiverse
At night, the harsh fluorescent lighting in my studio makes it difficult for me to draw, write, and plan effectively. To solve this problem, I set out to design a lamp that would allow me to focus on my work without distractions. From the start, I knew that simplicity was key. A complex lamp would only serve to distract users from their tasks, making it counterintuitive to create one. Through my research, I discovered that having your phone within easy reach can be a significant distraction. To combat this, I incorporated a device storage area into my design, allowing users to keep their phones out of sight and stay focused on their work. I designed this lamp using Autodesk Fusion 360, a powerful cloud-based modeling software that enables users to turn ideas into physical products. This software is free to try, and I highly recommend it - you won't be disappointed!
