I was curious if I could simplify this approach. The Customizer app seems to struggle with rendering it as is. If you're using OpenSCAD, consider switching to the command line for STL output. Nothing changes about the new shell's thickness. Printing the roofs of the spheres has been a surprisingly difficult task.
