Simple Customizable Key Tag
thingiverse
Updated 28 Jan 2017 Modified the default font and introduced more options. The original font was a monospaced font and appeared somewhat unattractive. I replaced the default with a sans-serif option and made it customizable. Additional modifications included making the hole size adjustable. If you find this size excessive (as is often the case), you can now alter it as needed. Tip: Pause the print when it reaches the halfway point and change to a different color filament for better readability. You can pause the print, move the head out of the way using Pronterface, change the filament, and then resume printing without needing to reposition the head, as Pronterface will handle that automatically. A simple yet customizable key tag ideal for one or two lines of text is now available. Unfortunately, OpenSCAD lacks a feature to determine text dimensions, so manual adjustment of text/tag size may be necessary to ensure a proper fit. Disclaimer: I do not own a Tesla S.
