To combat the cheap plastic stiffeners in dress shirts, I purchased metal ones with a gold finish, but they are costly and can get lost. With numerous shirts and limited budget, I decided to print my own collar stays. After some adjustments, I created a stay design featuring rounded edges, tapered front, and slightly longer (0.3mm) and thicker (1.6mm at four layers) than standard ones for my Printrbot. This provides the required rigidity without breaking the bank.
