Simple Coat Hooks - Over-the-door created to hang as low as possible
prusaprinters
This simple over-the-door hook set is designed to be as long as possible while staying in one piece on an Ender 3 Pro bed of 220mm x 220mm. It is 3d printed diagonal on the bed for maximum length.A door with this hook on it can still completely close latched shut in most cases. The top thickness is 2mm and the thickness between the door and jamb is 3mm and thickens towards the hooks to improve hook strength.I needed a bathrobe hook that would hang low enough for a 5'5" lady to be able to reach the bottom hook without much effort and I did not want to drill holes into the door. Also handy for workroom stuff like hanging cables, etc…The hooks are small to reduce pulling strain on the material. It is intended for the bathrobe neck loop to hang on a hook or similarly for a coat or jacket when used in a closet.Designed for 35mm (1 3/8 inch) thick doors. A STEP file is provided so that you may modify it as needed.Slicer Settings (Cura)Material - PETG"Orientation - The item lays on one side extending diagonally across the print bed to fitLayer height - 0.28Wall line count - 99Infill density - 100%Support - NoneBuild plate adhesion - None*PETG has less tendency to snap when strained and more tendency to stretch slightly to give a more secure and reliable hook.
