Simple Clip-On Fan Mount
thingiverse
The feedback on my initial model design prompted a redesign, now positioned atop the Makergear Mosaic (M1) frame. It fits either within the X Axis space or above the Z lead screw, as depicted in photos. Only two M3 bolts are required to secure the fan. I opted for this configuration due to my wired 12v PSU for RAMPS, facilitating easy fan removal during rig transportation. Suggestions for alternative solutions are welcome, provided they don't necessitate firmware adjustments or soldering. To install, print the design using Slic3r in about 15 minutes; wire the fan to the 12v green connection on RAMPS. A gcode file of my settings is included for those interested in trying them out, considering I use the upper right corner as my home location.
