There are holes pre-added into the cap and the holder itself to allow for neodymium magnets to be glued in place to make it where the cap doesn't fall off while in a bag of some sort. One on each side of the actual holder, and the 2 matching holes on the inside of the cap for more magnets. You could most likely get away with only using 2 magnets instead of 4, but 4 would still be more secure.
