I made a simple OpenSCAD script to overlay a grid on an imported stl to create a simple checkered pattern for dual extrusion. Sadly OpenSCAD is quite picky about the imported stls, they have to be manifold and probably meet some other criteria I haven't quite figured out yet. I used andresrojas faceted cat as an example, I had to do a little fix first.
