Simple Chair Glide
thingiverse
We recently moved into a new unit and found that our wooden chairs made a lot of noise on the polished tile flooring. The straightforward solution was to buy Chair Glides to attach to the legs, but the right size wasn't available and similar alternatives were selling for around $1.25 each! We needed 32 of them. So, we decided to 3D Print our own, which cost less than $2.00 in total. This design is very simple and not worth publishing as something extraordinary. I'm sharing it more as a reminder that 3D Printers can be very useful when other options don't exist or are too expensive. The two dimples in the design allow you to centre-punch the Tacks below the surface of the Glide. Enjoy!
